Director of Cybersecurity & Architecture

We are looking for an experienced Director of Cybersecurity & Architecture to shape and lead a modern security and enterprise architecture program in Peachtree City, Georgia. This role will set the direction for cyber defense, governance, and technology standards while partnering with business and technical leaders to support strategic goals. The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in security operations, architecture leadership, and executive communication, along with the ability to strengthen risk management across both corporate and operational environments.

Responsibilities:

• Define and drive a multi-year cybersecurity and architecture strategy that strengthens organizational resilience and supports business objectives.
• Lead security operations across monitoring, incident response, vulnerability remediation, and preparedness activities to improve protection and recovery capabilities.
• Build and maintain governance frameworks that include policies, control standards, risk evaluations, and clear reporting for senior leadership.
• Establish enterprise architecture principles, oversee technology standards, and guide solution design and platform decisions across the organization.
• Partner with Operations and Engineering teams to develop secure practices and risk controls for operational technology and industrial environments.
• Provide leadership on AI security and governance by shaping standards for responsible adoption, data protection, access management, and third-party oversight.
• Drive secure-by-design practices, simplify the technology landscape, and reduce unnecessary technical complexity and legacy risk.
• Manage key vendor relationships, contract considerations, licensing decisions, and investment planning to ensure value and alignment with strategic priorities.
• Lead, mentor, and develop cybersecurity and architecture teams by setting clear expectations, strengthening capabilities, and promoting accountability.
• 10+ years of experience in cybersecurity, security architecture, or related leadership roles.
• Demonstrated success leading enterprise cybersecurity programs and aligning security initiatives with broader business strategy.
• Strong background in incident response, threat management, vulnerability programs, and security operations oversight.
• Experience designing and governing enterprise architecture standards, technology roadmaps, and secure solution frameworks.
• Knowledge of cloud security practices, including experience with Microsoft Azure environments.
• Hands-on familiarity with cybersecurity tools and platforms such as Check Point and CrowdStrike.
• Ability to communicate risk, strategy, and technical priorities effectively to executive stakeholders.
• Proven leadership experience building high-performing teams and guiding cross-functional collaboration.
