This part-time opportunity supports on-site IT operations with a strong focus on maintaining Windows-based devices and ensuring systems remain secure and fully functional. The role is best suited for someone who is comfortable working hands-on with end-user hardware, patch management, and day-to-day technical issue resolution.
Responsibilities:
- Apply security patches and software updates to Windows desktops, laptops, docking stations, and selected servers in an on-site environment.
- Confirm that updated systems, peripherals, and connected equipment are operating correctly after maintenance is completed.
- Diagnose and resolve common workstation and server issues involving hardware, software, and overall system performance.
- Carry out technical work in alignment with established client procedures and documented patching standards.
- Record completed tasks, communicate unresolved items, and provide clear status updates on support activity.
- Support a workload centered primarily on patch deployment, while also addressing general repair and troubleshooting needs.
- Provide on-site technical assistance during scheduled weekday shifts, with no remote or weekend support involved.
- Step into an existing support need and help maintain continuity of service for the client environment during the assignment period.
- Prior hands-on experience deploying patches and security updates across Windows workstations and servers.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows 10 and general Microsoft desktop support practices.

- Familiarity with Active Directory and service desk ticket workflows in an IT support setting.
