Data Engineer

For our client, we are seeking a Data Engineer to design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines, integrations, and enterprise data platforms. This individual will work closely with data analysts, architects, and business stakeholders to ensure reliable data ingestion, transformation, storage, and accessibility for reporting, analytics, and business intelligence initiatives.

4+ years of experience in data engineering, ETL development, or data platform engineering. Strong proficiency in SQL and Python for data transformation, processing, and automation. Hands-on experience developing ETL/ELT pipelines using Azure Data Factory, Databricks, Informatica, SSIS, or Apache Airflow. Experience with cloud data platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP. Knowledge of enterprise data warehouses including Snowflake, Azure Synapse, Amazon Redshift, or Google BigQuery. Experience with data modeling, dimensional modeling, and relational database design. Familiarity with Apache Spark, PySpark, or distributed data processing technologies. Experience integrating structured and unstructured data from APIs, databases, and external sources. Understanding of data quality, governance, security, and pipeline performance optimization. Experience with Git, CI/CD, and automated data deployment processes preferred.
