Data Analyst

Robert Half is working with a client seeking a Data Analyst.

• Assist in developing, maintaining, and updating dashboards and recurring daily, weekly, and monthly reports.
• Analyze operational, financial, sales, and customer data to identify trends and discrepancies.
• Perform data validation, reconciliation, and quality checks; investigate missing, duplicate, or inconsistent records and escalate findings.
• Write and modify basic to intermediate SQL queries to retrieve and summarize data.
• Support Power BI report development, enhancements, testing, and validation.
• Work with structured datasets and gain exposure to data warehouses and ETL/ELT processes.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to clarify reporting needs and communicate findings.
• Maintain documentation of reports, business definitions, validation steps, and procedures.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent practical experience.
• 0–2 years of relevant experience; internships, academic work, and personal projects are welcome.
• Foundational SQL knowledge, including SELECT, JOIN, filtering, and aggregation.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, including formulas, pivot tables, and data manipulation.
• Basic familiarity with data visualization and reporting concepts.
• Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to prioritize assignments, collaborate, and learn new technologies.
