Data Analyst

Data Analyst Location: Miami, FL About the Role Our client is looking for a Data Analyst to turn raw data into clear, actionable insights that guide business decisions. You will work closely with stakeholders across the organization to build reports, uncover trends, and improve how data is collected and used. This is a great fit for someone who enjoys solving problems, asking good questions, and telling a story with numbers. What You’ll Do

• Gather, clean, and validate data from multiple sources to ensure accuracy and consistency
• Write SQL queries to extract and analyze data from relational databases
• Build and maintain dashboards and reports in Power BI, Tableau, or similar tools
• Identify trends, patterns, and opportunities, and present findings to technical and non technical audiences
• Partner with business teams to define KPIs and translate questions into analysis
• Automate recurring reports and streamline data workflows
• Support ad hoc requests and deeper dive projects as business needs evolve
• Document data sources, definitions, and processes

What You Bring

• Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Statistics, Computer Science, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
• 2+ years of experience in a data or reporting focused role
• Strong SQL skills
• Hands on experience with Power BI, Tableau, or another BI platform
• Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, Power Query)
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to explain complex findings simply
• Comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast paced environment

Nice to Have

• Python or R for data analysis
• Experience with cloud data platforms (Azure, AWS, Snowflake, BigQuery)
• Familiarity with ETL processes and data modeling
