We are looking for a CRM and Business Development Intelligence Specialist to oversee the health, usability, and strategic value of the firm's CRM ecosystem in Washington, District of Columbia. This role blends system administration, data stewardship, and business development analysis to help teams make better decisions and strengthen client engagement. The ideal candidate will turn complex relationship and matter data into practical insight, while also improving user adoption, reporting, and overall data quality across the platform.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage daily administration of the CRM platform and supporting business development tools, ensuring reliable performance and ongoing optimization.
  • Review database records on a recurring basis to correct duplicates, fill information gaps, and improve consistency and accuracy.
  • Define and reinforce standards for data entry, governance, and quality control so information remains dependable and usable across teams.
  • Create and maintain segmented contact lists for marketing outreach, events, campaigns, and targeted relationship-development efforts.
  • Recommend and implement enhancements to workflows, integrations, configurations, reporting, and overall user experience within the CRM environment.
  • Transform CRM and engagement data into clear reports, dashboards, and recommendations for business development staff, attorneys, practice leaders, and firm management.
  • Track client and prospect interaction with communications, events, and campaigns, then suggest timely follow-up actions based on observed engagement.
  • Coordinate with business development, finance, attorneys, and other stakeholders to maintain accurate client, matter, industry, and experience information for strategic use.
  • Provide user support through training, documentation, troubleshooting, and practical guidance that increases adoption and strengthens data integrity.
  • Produce standard and customized reporting to support pitches, proposals, planning initiatives, and broader business development strategy.
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience in CRM administration, business development systems, or a related data-driven support role.
  • Hands-on experience working with CRM platforms and marketing databases, including HubSpot or similar tools.
  • Strong capability in Microsoft Excel for data analysis, validation, reporting, and list management.
  • Demonstrated understanding of data governance, record maintenance, and quality assurance best practices.
  • Ability to interpret business needs and translate them into effective system processes, reports, and user-focused solutions.
  • Experience preparing dashboards, summaries, and actionable insights for operational or business development audiences.
  • Strong research, organization, and communication skills with the ability to manage detailed information accurately.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional stakeholders in a services-focused or similarly complex environment.
