CPP Sr. Payroll Specialist

We are looking for an experienced CPP Sr. Payroll Specialist to oversee accurate and timely payroll operations for a mid-sized employee population in California. This position is ideal for someone who can manage end-to-end payroll activities, maintain compliance with payroll regulations, and resolve complex pay-related issues with confidence. Responsibilities:

• Process payroll for ~200 staff (140 W2, 60 K-1 partners) using ADP Workforce Now
• Handle partner equity payouts; verify calculations from accounting
• Ensure multi-state payroll compliance (CA, CO, TX) and stay current on regulations
• Manage weekly payroll cycles for exempt and non-exempt employees
• CPP certification required
• Expert in ADP Workforce Now
• Experience in professional services (law, architecture, engineering); familiar with partner equity structures
• Detail-oriented with strong accuracy and proactive in tracking regulatory updates
