Controller

We are hiring for a Hands-on Controller responsible for financial reporting, job costing, WIP schedules, cash flow, and overall accounting operations for a growing construction company. Key Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly financial statements and oversee month-end close.
• Manage job costing, project profitability, and cost-to-complete reporting.
• Prepare and review WIP schedules and percentage-of-completion revenue recognition.
• Oversee AP, AR, payroll, progress billing, retention, and collections.
• Monitor cash flow, forecasts, and banking relationships.
• Collaborate with Project Managers on budgets, change orders, and project financial performance.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP, tax requirements, audits, insurance, and licensing.

Qualifications/Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance. 5+ years of construction accounting experience.

Strong knowledge of:

• Job Costing
• WIP Reporting
• Percentage-of-Completion Accounting
• AIA Billing
• Cash Flow Management
• Construction Contracts

Experience with Viewpoint, Sage, Foundation, CMiC, Procore, or similar construction accounting software. CPA preferred.
