This assignment is suited for a detail-oriented individual who can manage agreement workflows efficiently while supporting attorneys and internal stakeholders in a fast-moving business environment. The role offers a hybrid schedule and focuses on maintaining accurate contract documentation, coordinating with outside parties, and helping keep legal operations running smoothly during a short-term coverage period.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage a steady pipeline of vendor, consultant, and service-related agreements from intake through final execution.
  • Draft, revise, and polish contract documents using company-approved formats, ensuring accuracy and completeness before release.
  • Monitor each agreement’s progress, follow up on outstanding items, and keep contract files organized and current.
  • Partner with internal departments to answer contract-related questions and gather supporting documentation needed for review.
  • Communicate with vendors, insurers, and other external contacts to resolve agreement requirements and move documents forward.
  • Support compliance efforts by maintaining records, following retention practices, and assisting with legal administrative tasks.
  • Contribute to departmental initiatives and provide additional operational support as priorities shift during the assignment.
  • At least 2 years of experience in contracts administration, legal operations, procurement, purchasing, or an in-house legal setting.
  • Background working with commercial agreements, including vendor, service, or consultant contracts.
  • Ability to draft, review, and manage contracts with strong attention to detail and document accuracy.
  • Solid organizational skills with the ability to balance multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience using Microsoft Office and contract lifecycle or document management systems.
  • Knowledge of contract administration, contract management, and commercial contract processes.
  • Paralegal training or equivalent practical experience is preferred.
