Contract Manager

Contract Manager – Construction - Garden Grove, CA

Our client, a national construction company, is seeking an experienced Contract Manager to support construction and engineering operations. This is a management role that will oversee the contracting process and personnel and work closely with business leaders on contract review, negotiation, risk management, and vendor agreements.

Large-scale commercial construction contracts experience is required. Data center experience is a plus!

Responsibilities

• Manage and review construction contracts, change orders, releases, service agreements, and vendor contracts.
• Partner with business leaders, Procurement, and Legal on contract negotiations and risk.
• Prepare contract redlines, revisions, and amendments.
• Manage and support other contracts personnel.
• Interpret contract terms and identify potential business and legal risks.
• Maintain contract templates and processes.
• Ensure contracts are reviewed and completed within required timelines.

Qualifications

• Strong commercial construction contract experience required.
• Experience managing or leading contracts personnel required.
• 5+ years of contract management experience, ideally working for a GC or subcontractor.
• Data center construction project experience is a plus.
• Strong contract negotiation, drafting, redlining skills.
