Concierge - Level 1

We are looking for an experienced and service-focused Concierge - Level 1 to support a holiday gift-wrapping experience in New York, New York. This Contract position is ideal for someone who enjoys creating memorable guest interactions while delivering carefully presented, high-quality wrapped gifts. The person in this role will help maintain an inviting station, assist visitors with presentation choices, and uphold a premium standard of hospitality throughout the seasonal assignment. Assignment Duration: 11/27 - 12/24 - 30hrs a week

Responsibilities:

• Welcome guests warmly and create a refined, attentive experience at the gift-wrapping station.
• Wrap gifts neatly and professionally for a wide range of package sizes and shapes using appropriate materials and techniques.
• Guide guests in choosing wrapping paper, ribbons, bows, gift bags, and other finishing touches to enhance presentation.
• Maintain consistent visual and quality standards so each completed package reflects a high-end service environment.
• Monitor guest flow, set clear expectations on wait times, and stay organized during busy holiday periods.
• Keep the work area clean, orderly, and fully stocked with paper, tape, ribbon, and decorative supplies.
• Respond to guest questions with courtesy and provide prompt assistance to support a seamless experience.
• Coordinate with onsite team members to ensure smooth daily operations and strong service coverage throughout the assignment.
• Follow established workplace policies and safety practices while maintaining professionalism during every shift.
• At least 1 year of recent experience in customer service, hospitality, concierge support, or a similar guest-facing role.
• Availble to work flexible hours / 30 hours per week between Monday and Sunday.
• Demonstrated hands-on gift-wrapping ability with attention to detail, presentation, and consistency.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills and a detail-oriented, welcoming approach to guest interactions.
• Ability to manage multiple requests efficiently while maintaining composure in a fast-paced seasonal environment.
• Comfort working fully onsite in New York, New York, including a schedule that may include weekdays and weekends as assigned.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to maintain an organized workstation, handle materials carefully, and support overall operational standards.
