Business Analyst

We are looking for a Business Analyst to join a long-term contract opportunity in Ventura, California. This role focuses on evaluating business needs, improving service-related processes, and translating operational challenges into practical solutions. The ideal candidate will work closely with stakeholders, review documentation for accuracy and completeness, and support Agile Scrum teams with clear, actionable insights.

Responsibilities:

• Gather, analyze, and clarify business needs by working with stakeholders across customer service and operational teams.
• Examine current workflows to identify process gaps, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement, then recommend practical solutions.
• Review business and operational documents to ensure accuracy, consistency, and alignment with project objectives.
• Create clear requirements, user stories, process maps, and supporting documentation for development and business teams.
• Collaborate with Agile Scrum teams during planning, refinement, testing, and implementation activities.
• Support call center and customer service initiatives by assessing business impacts and helping define effective process enhancements.
• Facilitate discussions between technical teams and business partners to ensure shared understanding of goals and deliverables.
• At least 3 years of experience in business analysis or a closely related role.
• Hands-on experience gathering requirements, documenting processes, and performing gap analysis.
• Familiarity with call center or customer service environments and related business workflows.
• Experience reviewing documents and translating findings into clear business recommendations.
• Working knowledge of Agile Scrum methodologies and participation in cross-functional project teams.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage stakeholders and present information clearly.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail and accuracy.
