Responsibilities:
- Interpret Property & Casualty regulatory reporting needs and convert them into detailed business and technical documentation for development teams.
- Evaluate insurance data across source systems, identify gaps, and define mapping logic to support accurate reporting and downstream processes.
- Collaborate with engineering, product, and business stakeholders in Agile Scrum environments to refine requirements and align delivery outcomes with compliance objectives.
- Support implementation activities by coordinating analysis, documenting process needs, and helping onboard new client reporting requirements.
- Perform data validation, reconciliation, and quality review to confirm completeness, consistency, and reporting accuracy.
- Create document reviews, process flows, and requirement artifacts that clarify business rules, dependencies, and expected system behavior.
- Partner with technical teams to enhance automation for recurring reporting activities and improve operational efficiency.
- Facilitate gap analysis sessions to identify risks, resolve requirement issues, and recommend practical solutions for regulatory reporting challenges.
- 5+ years of experience in business analysis, with strong exposure to data-driven technology initiatives.
- Hands-on knowledge of Property & Casualty insurance, including statistical reporting and state filing processes.
- Ability to translate regulatory or business requirements into clear specifications, workflows, and actionable user stories.
- Experience with data analysis, reconciliation, document review, and quality control in reporting or implementation environments.
- Familiarity with Agile Scrum methodologies and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional delivery teams.
- Strong gap analysis and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail in complex data and reporting scenarios.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to partner with business users, developers, and external stakeholders.
- Background supporting client onboarding, reporting implementations, or related insurance system initiatives is preferred.
