Bookkeeper

Responsibilities

• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions
• Perform bank, credit card, and general ledger reconciliations
• Manage payroll processing and payroll-related reporting
• Prepare journal entries and assist with month-end close activities
• Maintain fixed asset records and depreciation schedules
• Prepare trial balances and support financial reporting
• Assist with budgeting and cash flow tracking
• Ensure accurate and timely maintenance of financial records
• Support accounting teams with special projects and process improvements
• Provide exceptional internal and external customer service

Qualifications

• 3+ years of bookkeeping or accounting experience preferred
• Experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable, reconciliations, and payroll
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage/Peachtree, or similar ERP systems
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to adapt quickly to new environments and systems
• Associate's degree in Accounting, Business, or related field preferred
