Attorney/Lawyer

Robert Half is seeking a Family Law Attorney with 1+ years of experience on behalf of a growing boutique law firm located in downtown Chicago. This opportunity offers a flexible hybrid schedule, a reasonable billable requirement, and the chance to gain hands-on experience in a collaborative family law practice.

Responsibilities:

• Provide legal representation to clients in family law cases, including divorce, custody, support, and property division matters.
• Draft and review legal documents such as pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and settlement agreements.
• Attend court proceedings, including hearings, status conferences, and other relevant matters.
• Conduct client consultations, offering guidance and maintaining clear and consistent communication.
• Collaborate with partners and staff to develop and execute effective case strategies.
• Accurately track billable hours and ensure compliance with timekeeping requirements.

Qualifications:

• Active Illinois Bar license in good standing.
• 1+ year of family law experience.
• Strong legal writing and analytical skills.
• Courtroom experience is a plus.
• Ability to manage a caseload independently.
• Client-focused, organized, and detail-oriented.
