Attorney/Lawyer

We are looking for an experienced Attorney/Lawyer to support legal matters in a Contract position based in Texas. This opportunity is well suited for a licensed detail-oriented candidate with a strong background in civil litigation who can manage cases with precision and sound judgment. The role involves preparing legal documents, handling discovery activities, and developing persuasive written arguments to advance case strategy.

Responsibilities:

• Manage civil litigation matters from initial case assessment through resolution, ensuring deadlines and procedural requirements are met.
• Prepare, review, and refine motions, pleadings, and other legal filings for court submission.
• Conduct written legal analysis and develop briefs that clearly present arguments supported by relevant authority.
• Oversee discovery efforts by drafting requests, evaluating responses, and organizing materials for case development.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and legal counterparts to shape strategy, assess risk, and support ongoing matters.
• Perform legal research to strengthen case positions and provide guidance on litigation-related questions.
• Maintain accurate case documentation and monitor progress to support efficient handling of active files.
• Active license to practice law in good standing.
• Demonstrated experience handling civil litigation matters.
• Proven ability to draft motions, pleadings, and other formal legal documents.
• Strong briefing and legal writing skills with close attention to detail.
• Hands-on experience managing discovery processes and related documentation.
• Ability to interpret legal issues, evaluate facts, and recommend practical next steps.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a Contract role.
