🏀 Sports Marketing Counsel (Contract) | Hybrid NYC | $50-$70/hr
Robert Half Legal is seeking an experienced attorney to support a leading sports and entertainment organization's Marketing team.
This role will focus heavily on endorsement, sponsorship, partnership, and services agreements supporting professional talent and agents in a fast-paced Business Affairs environment where quick turnaround is essential.
📍 Hybrid - New York City (4 days onsite, Fridays remote) 💲 $50-$70/hour 📅 Target Start: November 2026 📆 Contract through March 31, 2027 ⏰ Approximately 40-50 hours/week
What You'll Do:
- Review, negotiate, and redline endorsement, sponsorship, partnership, licensing, and services agreements
- Advise agents and business executives on marketing and endorsement matters
- Provide practical legal guidance on athlete marketing, image rights, and related commercial issues
- Supervise a paralegal and manage a high-volume contract workload
What We're Looking For:
- 6+ years of experience handling endorsement, sponsorship, marketing, or sports/entertainment agreements
- Strong negotiation and drafting skills
- Active attorney license preferred (J.D. required)
- Sports industry experience is a plus, but deep experience with endorsement and sponsorship agreements is the priority
