  • Develop and enhance policies, controls, and decision-making frameworks that support growth while aligning with the organization’s risk profile.
  • Provide leadership to the legal team by setting priorities, reviewing work quality, and fostering ongoing skill development.
  • Direct the legal aspects of major business transactions and oversee dispute matters, including management of external counsel and related spending.
  • Interpret changes in healthcare, pharmacy, telehealth, and e-commerce regulations and translate them into actionable guidance for internal stakeholders.
  • Support and expand compliance programs designed to meet federal and state healthcare requirements across multiple operating areas.
  • Oversee licensing, accreditation, audit, and inspection readiness activities across jurisdictions, including responses to regulatory agencies and boards.
  • Counsel the business on rules related to prescription products, advertising, labeling, and consumer-facing healthcare offerings.
  • Guide compliance efforts related to patient privacy, data handling, and security obligations affecting protected health information.
  • Partner with the General Counsel on department planning, workload management, product launches, and entry into additional markets.
  • Juris Doctor from an accredited law school and active bar membership in good standing.
  • At least 7 years of legal, regulatory, or compliance experience, preferably within telehealth, pharmacy, or other highly regulated healthcare settings.

  • Demonstrated experience building or managing legal and compliance frameworks in a fast-moving business environment.
  • Background handling regulatory reviews, agency inquiries, audits, or inspections with a practical and organized approach.
  • Familiarity with commercial contracts, corporate governance, contract negotiation, and transactional matters such as mergers and acquisitions.
