This long-term contract position is ideal for someone who excels in structured, process-oriented tasks and takes pride in maintaining accuracy across high-volume workflows. The role will provide essential support to underwriting activities by organizing submissions, entering information into company systems, and helping ensure timely service for both internal teams and external clients.
Responsibilities:
- Enter application and policy-related information into internal systems with a high degree of speed and accuracy, ensuring records are complete and properly routed for next steps.
- Review incoming documents for missing or inconsistent details and organize files within established workflows to keep processing on schedule.
- Provide responsive and attentive service when assisting internal departments, policyholders, agents, and other business contacts.
- Coordinate routine underwriting support activities, including arranging premium audits and scheduling inspection-related requests.
- Prepare and process legal notice documentation in accordance with company procedures and required timelines.
- Set up renewal files across multiple product lines and confirm materials are ready for underwriting review.
- Support program-related administrative activities by maintaining organized records and assisting with recurring operational tasks.
- Contribute to process improvements by identifying efficient ways to manage repetitive administrative work while maintaining quality standards.
- Handle additional clerical and office support duties as needed to help the team meet daily business priorities.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous experience in administrative support, office coordination, data entry, or customer service preferred.
- Strong accuracy and attention to detail, especially when working with repetitive tasks and high-volume information.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills with a detail-focused and service-oriented approach.
- Ability to manage multiple routine assignments in a fast-paced team environment while meeting deadlines.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Comfort using computer systems for data entry, document handling, and workflow tracking.
- Resourceful problem-solving skills and the ability to follow tasks through to completion with minimal supervision.
