This Long-term Contract opportunity is well suited for someone who enjoys detail-oriented transactional work, can stay organized in a fast-paced setting, and is comfortable managing a sizable volume of payment activity. The ideal candidate will bring a strong accuracy mindset, sound judgment when resolving routine discrepancies, and the ability to work independently while following established accounting practices.

Responsibilities:

  • Record and apply incoming customer payments to the correct accounts using Oracle Fusion, ensuring transactions are posted with precision.
  • Review routine payment variances, identify the source of discrepancies, and elevate more complex exceptions to the appropriate team members.
  • Maintain complete and organized records of cash activity, account updates, and supporting transaction details.
  • Process a large queue of receivable items efficiently while preserving a high standard of accuracy and timeliness.
  • Adhere to defined accounting controls, internal procedures, and confidentiality expectations when handling customer and financial data.
  • Monitor daily cash receipt activity and support accurate reconciliation of posted payments.
  • Assist with billing and related accounts receivable functions as needed to help keep workflows current and balanced.
  • At least 1 year of experience in accounts receivable, cash application, payment processing, accounting support, or similar transactional finance work.
  • Prior success working in a high-volume processing environment with consistent attention to deadlines and detail.
  • Hands-on experience with Oracle Fusion, Salesforce, Oracle, or comparable business systems.
  • Demonstrated ability to enter, review, and manage financial transactions with speed and accuracy.
  • Ability to follow established procedures, work with minimal supervision, and handle a substantial workload effectively.
