Responsibilities:
- Manage invoicing activities and oversee receivable balances to support timely and accurate customer billing.
- Apply incoming payments, reconcile cash transactions, and investigate discrepancies to maintain clean account records.
- Partner with internal stakeholders and customers to follow up on outstanding balances and support commercial collections efforts.
- Review account activity, resolve billing issues, and ensure receivables data is properly documented and updated.
- Use spreadsheets and financial systems to analyze trends, prepare reports, and improve visibility into accounts receivable performance.
- Support reporting needs through platforms such as Salesforce and, when applicable, business intelligence tools like Tableau or Power BI.
- Contribute to process consistency across billing and cash application workflows while maintaining strong attention to detail.
- At least 5 years of experience in accounts receivable, billing, or a closely related finance function.
- Strong background in customer invoicing, cash application, collections, and account reconciliation.
- Experience working as a billing specialist, billing clerk, or AR accountant with hands-on billing responsibility.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for tracking, analysis, and reconciliation tasks.
- Familiarity with Salesforce and reporting within financial or customer account workflows.
- Experience with Certinia is highly preferred.
- Exposure to the SaaS industry is a plus.
- Knowledge of Tableau or Power BI is beneficial for reporting and analysis.
