Accounts Receivable

We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Specialist with strong collections experience to support billing, cash application, account reconciliation, and outstanding account follow-up. This role is ideal for someone who can balance accuracy, customer service, and persistence in managing receivables and resolving payment issues. Based on general knowledge.

Key Responsibilities:

• Generate and process customer invoices accurately and in a timely manner.
• Post cash receipts, wire payments, ACH payments, and credit card transactions.
• Monitor aging reports and follow up on past-due accounts.
• Conduct collections outreach by phone and email while maintaining professional client relationships.
• Research and resolve billing discrepancies, short payments, and unapplied cash.
• Reconcile customer accounts and prepare account statements as needed.
• Collaborate with internal teams to resolve disputes and improve payment turnaround.
• Maintain accurate records of collection activity, payment arrangements, and account status.
• Support month-end close by assisting with AR reporting and reconciliations.
• Help ensure compliance with company policies and internal controls.

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of accounts receivable experience, including business-to-business collections.
• Experience with billing, cash application, and account reconciliation.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to manage a high volume of accounts and follow up consistently.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and accounting/ERP systems.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving ability.
