Accounts Payable Specialist (Long-Term Contract) West Branch, IA | Manufacturing Environment | Long-Term Contract

Are you an experienced Accounts Payable professional who thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume environment? We are partnering with a growing manufacturing company in the West Branch area seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist to support day-to-day invoice processing and vendor payment operations.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Process a high volume of vendor invoices accurately and efficiently
• Match invoices to purchase orders and receiving documentation
• Research and resolve invoice discrepancies and vendor inquiries
• Code invoices and ensure proper approvals are obtained
• Prepare and process weekly check runs and electronic payments
• Maintain vendor records and assist with onboarding new vendors
• Reconcile vendor statements and assist with month-end AP activities
• Collaborate with purchasing, operations, and accounting teams to ensure timely payment processing

What We're Looking For:

• 2+ years of accounts payable experience, preferably in a manufacturing, distribution, or high-volume environment
• Strong data entry skills with a high degree of accuracy
• Experience matching invoices, purchase orders, and receipts
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP/accounting software
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
