Accounts Payable Specialist

About the Opportunity A growing manufacturing organization in the Fort Wayne area is seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist to join its accounting team. This role is ideal for someone with high-volume invoice processing experience who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys working cross-functionally with purchasing and operations.

Responsibilities

• Process vendor invoices and match purchase orders
• Investigate invoice discrepancies and resolve payment issues
• Prepare weekly check runs and ACH payments
• Reconcile vendor statements
• Maintain AP records and supporting documentation
• Assist with month-end close activities
• Communicate with vendors regarding payment status

Qualifications

• 2+ years of accounts payable experience
• Manufacturing experience preferred
• ERP experience required
• Strong attention to detail
• Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills
