Responsibilities:

  • Process a high volume of supplier invoices and enter payment data accurately into the accounting system.
  • Review invoices for proper authorization, correct purchase order matching, and accurate general ledger coding before submission.
  • Monitor aged payables and invoices pending resolution, then follow up to help clear outstanding items promptly.
  • Respond to vendor questions regarding payment status, invoice details, and account discrepancies clearly and courteously.
  • Coordinate with office-based and field personnel to research and resolve purchase order and invoice exceptions.
  • Maintain organized records and support consistent documentation practices in line with department standards.
  • Assist with day-to-day accounts payable activities and contribute to additional finance-related tasks as needed.
  • At least 2 years of accounts payable experience, including work in a high-volume processing environment.
  • Hands-on ability to perform accurate numeric data entry and manage invoice details with strong attention to detail.
  • Working knowledge of Oracle and proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Experience reviewing coding, approvals, and purchase order information within an accounts payable workflow.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple assignments and meet deadlines.
  • Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with vendors and employees at all levels of the organization.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States and be eligible to work in the U.S. without current or future employer support.
