Accounts Payable Specialist

Our client is seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Clerk to join their growing team. This position will be responsible for processing vendor invoices, managing payment schedules, reconciling accounts, and ensuring accurate and timely completion of accounts payable functions. Responsibilities

• Process high-volume vendor invoices accurately and efficiently
• Match invoices to purchase orders and receiving documents
• Code invoices and enter transactions into the accounting system
• Prepare and process check runs, ACH payments, and wire transfers
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve invoice discrepancies
• Respond to vendor inquiries regarding payments and account status
• Maintain organized AP records and supporting documentation
• Assist with month-end closing activities and account reconciliations
• Support audits by gathering and providing requested documentation
• Perform other accounting and administrative duties as assigned

Qualifications

• 1+ years of accounts payable, accounting, or bookkeeping experience
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and accounting software
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred

Preferred Experience

• Experience processing a high volume of invoices
• Knowledge of ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, NetSuite, or similar software
• Experience with three-way matching and vendor reconciliation
