Accounts Payable Specialist

We are looking for an Accounts Payable Specialist to join a team in Camp Hill, Pennsylvania. This position focuses on maintaining accurate payment processing, reviewing invoice details, and supporting timely disbursements to vendors. The ideal candidate brings strong attention to detail, sound judgment with financial data, and the ability to keep accounts payable activities organized and on schedule.

Responsibilities:

• Review incoming invoices, assign the correct accounting codes, and prepare them for accurate entry into the payment workflow.
• Process vendor payments through multiple methods, including ACH transactions, check disbursements, and wire transfers, while following established controls.
• Verify invoice details against supporting documentation to help ensure payment accuracy and proper authorization.
• Reconcile vendor statements on a regular basis, investigate discrepancies, and resolve outstanding items promptly.
• Coordinate scheduled payment runs to support on-time settlements and maintain positive vendor relationships.
• Maintain complete and organized accounts payable records to support reporting, audits, and internal review needs.
• Hands-on experience in accounts payable with a solid understanding of invoice processing and payment procedures.
• Ability to apply accurate general ledger or account coding to invoices and related financial documents.
• Working knowledge of ACH payments, check runs, and wire transfer processing.
• Experience reconciling vendor statements and researching discrepancies with attention to detail.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in standard accounting systems and Microsoft Office tools, especially spreadsheet applications.
