  • Prepare contract-based, progress, and time-and-material billings in alignment with project terms and financial requirements.
  • Reconcile bank accounts and company credit card activity and assist with closing tasks at month-end and year-end.
  • Partner with project managers to monitor job costs, review budget activity, and help track committed project expenses.
  • Coordinate lien waiver documentation by preparing, distributing, and confirming required records for compliance purposes.
  • Process weekly payroll for office and field employees, including tracking hours by project, union classification, and local requirements.
  • Compile union benefit reporting, assist with certified payroll and prevailing wage documentation, and provide support during labor or benefit audits.
  • Maintain organized accounting, payroll, project, and employee files while also assisting with mail handling, document processing, job setup in Sage 100 Contractor, and special projects for leadership.
  • Associate or bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or a related discipline.

  • Working knowledge of job costing and project-based accounting practices.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Background in construction accounting is strongly preferred.
