Accounting Manager/Supervisor

We are looking for an experienced accounting leader to guide core corporate accounting activities in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida. This role will oversee the monthly close cycle, support accurate financial reporting, and help strengthen day-to-day accounting operations. The ideal candidate brings strong leadership skills, a solid background in large corporate environments, and the ability to turn financial data into practical business insight.

Responsibilities:

• Direct the month-end general ledger close process to ensure accurate results and timely completion of all deliverables.
• Lead and develop the accounting team by setting expectations, reviewing work, and promoting a productive, accountable environment.
• Oversee operational accounting activities, including core accounting functions that support reliable financial reporting.
• Analyze financial information and identify trends, risks, and opportunities to support business decisions.
• Use ERP systems and advanced Excel capabilities to improve reporting workflows, strengthen controls, and increase efficiency.
• Partner with internal stakeholders to resolve accounting issues, clarify financial results, and support ongoing business needs.
• Review account activity, reconciliations, and supporting documentation to maintain accuracy and compliance.
• Contribute to audit-related activities by preparing schedules, addressing requests, and supporting a well-documented close process.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field.
• At least 5 years of accounting experience within a large corporate environment or Big 4/large tier public accounting firm
• Prior experience supervising or managing accounting staff.
• Strong knowledge of general ledger processes and month-end close procedures.
• Hands-on experience working with ERP platforms in a corporate setting.
• Advanced Excel skills with the ability to work efficiently with complex financial data.
• Solid understanding of accounting operations, including billing, auditing support, and related accounting functions.
• Strong analytical ability, attention to detail, and sound judgment in a fast-paced environment.
