Accounting Manager

We are looking for a truly senior, hands-on professional who can take ownership independently and has experience working in an international group environment. Someone based in the Eastern Time Zone would be ideal.

The scope includes:

• Owning monthly and year-end close in line with the group reporting calendar, including journal entries, accruals, deferrals, and account reconciliations
• Maintaining general ledger integrity across bank, AR, AP, prepaids, accruals, and intercompany accounts
• Managing revenue recognition for hardware, SaaS, and service contracts, including deferred revenue
• Handling intercompany transactions, reconciliations, and billing to global group entities
• Overseeing customer billing, AR aging, collections, and payment dispute resolution in partnership with Sales and management
• Overseeing AP accounting and supplier payment accuracy, and reviewing and approving expense reports in SAP Concur
• Calculating, filing, and paying multi-state sales and use tax, responding to tax authorities, and preparing annual 1099 filings
• Supporting external audits, ensuring compliance with U.S. GAAP and internal policies, and improving processes and controls Strong U.S. GAAP knowledge, experience with multi-state sales tax, and the ability to work confidently with international stakeholders are particularly important.
