Accounting Manager

This Accounting Manager Consultant will report directly to the Controller and play a key role in leading and improving financial close activities within a SAP S/4HANA environment. The ideal candidate will bring strong month-end close experience, a process improvement mindset, SAP S/4HANA expertise, and a CPA or CPA-track background.

Responsibilities

• Support and help lead month-end and year-end close activities
• Partner directly with the Controller to enhance close processes, controls, and efficiency
• Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules
• Analyze financial data and investigate variances
• Leverage SAP S/4HANA to perform accounting and reporting functions
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and operational efficiencies within the close cycle
• Assist with financial reporting and special projects as needed
• Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure timely and accurate financial information

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• CPA designation strongly preferred
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
• Prior experience supporting or leading financial close activities
• Strong SAP S/4HANA experience required
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Proven ability to work independently while partnering effectively with leadership
