Original job description
We are seeking an Accounting Clerk with construction industry experience to support daily accounting operations in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions
- Enter and review subcontractor and vendor invoices
- Assist with job costing and purchase order tracking
- Maintain lien waivers and related construction documentation
- Reconcile accounts and support general accounting functions
- Ensure accurate data entry and timely recordkeeping
- Previous accounting clerk experience in the construction industry
- Experience with Sage 300 or Timberline software
- Knowledge of job costing, AP/AR, and construction billing processes
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
