We are looking for a relationship-focused Account Manager to support donor engagement efforts for a nonprofit organization in Piedmont, South Carolina. This contract-to-permanent opportunity is ideal for someone who enjoys growing existing accounts, developing new business connections, and helping local partners run successful blood drive events. In this role, you will collaborate with internal leadership and community contacts to increase collection results, strengthen territory performance, and provide dependable support that encourages strong donor participation.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage a designated territory by nurturing current blood drive partnerships and identifying opportunities to improve overall account performance.
  • Develop new business relationships with organizations in the community to expand the network of blood drive hosts and increase collection volume.
  • Work closely with blood drive coordinators to plan upcoming events, align expectations, and provide consistent guidance throughout the process.
  • Use marketing and promotional resources effectively to help accounts attract donors and improve event participation.
  • Monitor donor appointment activity, support scheduling efforts, and follow up proactively to help maximize turnout and results.
  • Partner with department leadership to track collection targets, respond to inventory needs, and adjust territory plans as priorities shift.
  • Maintain strong, attentive relationships with account contacts by delivering responsive service and ongoing communication.
  • Coordinate internal resources efficiently to support account success and ensure each drive is set up for the best possible outcome.
  • Experience in account management, business development, or customer-facing sales roles.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong working relationships with external partners and internal stakeholders.
  • Background in B2B sales, inside sales, or territory-based account growth is preferred.
  • Comfortable managing inbound inquiries and turning leads into long-term account opportunities.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to oversee multiple accounts and event timelines at once.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills, with a proactive and service-oriented approach.
  • Ability to analyze account performance and take action to improve participation and results.
