Nursing SIM lab - per diem support

Description Position: Nursing Simulation Specialist Department: Division of Nursing & Health Professions Reports to: Director, Health Professions Resource Center Classification: Non Exempt (Hourly), Per Diem, Temportary- scheduled as needed. Hours are variable and may include evenings and/or weekends.

Summary/Objective: Reporting to the DNHP Nursing Simulation Center Director, the Assistant will assist with the management and the day to day coordination of lab activities.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Assist with inventory and management of lab supplies.
• Set up Simulation Labs and skills labs.
• Monitor Open Labs when work study students are not available.
• Assist faculty in the Simulation Lab according to the prepared script.
• Trouble shoot problems with EKG machines, student iPads, computers, equipment and mannequins in the lab and report malfunctions to the Nursing Simulation and Clinical Education Center Director.
• Assist the Simulation Center Director with any other duties that become necessary.

Qualifications

LPN, LNA, CNA, MA or a registered nurse preferred.
