NY1745875 Full-Time or Part-Time Staff Pharmacist with Riverfront Pharmacy in Amsterdam, NY Riverfront Pharmacy is seeking a dependable, motivated, and patient-focused Staff Pharmacist to join our independent community pharmacy. We are looking for someone who takes ownership of their shift, works efficiently, provides excellent patient care, and works collaboratively with technicians and support staff. Responsibilities - Accurately review and verify prescriptions. - Provide patient counseling and medication guidance. - Administer immunizations. - Complete MTM, CMRs, and other clinical opportunities. - Identify and resolve medication, insurance, prescriber, and patient-related issues. - Maintain appropriate controlled-substance and pharmacy documentation. - Maintain an organized and efficient prescription workflow. - Provide appropriate direction and support to technicians and staff. - Build strong relationships with patients and provide excellent customer service. - Communicate outstanding issues clearly to the next pharmacist or management. - Follow pharmacy policies and state and federal requirements. - Take initiative in identifying and resolving day-to-day operational issues. Qualifications - Active and unrestricted New York State Pharmacist license. - Immunization certification preferred. - Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Community or independent pharmacy experience preferred. Compensation: $55 to $65 per hour, based on experience, qualifications, availability, and ability to take on responsibility within the pharmacy. Benefits: Paid time off.
