Support cybersecurity, functional-safety considerations, traceability, and product certification activities.
Embedded Linux and Distributed Edge Computing
Develop Linux edge applications and services, including IPC, networking, local messaging, and fault recovery.
Integrate distributed devices, gateways, sensors, and cloud/mobile interfaces using MQTT, APIs, and appropriate protocols.
Work with embedded Linux deployment, containerized services, and offline operation where appropriate.
Integration, Verification, and Release
Integrate firmware with edge compute, SMART sensors, mobile experiences, and IoT/device-management platforms.
Develop automated unit/integration tests and support hardware-in-the-loop, system validation, and release readiness.
Cross-Functional Technical Leadership
Partner with architects and cross-functional teams on system interfaces, technical decisions, and integrated delivery.
Mentor engineers, participate in code reviews, and help improve development practices.

Supervisory Responsibilities This role has no direct reports but provides senior-level technical leadership and mentoring.
