Fabrication Technician

Job Summary: Ideal candidate should have manufacturing experience with machine operation or maintenance experience. Candidate must be comfortable working in production as part of a team with specific production goals. Previous work experience in a fast paced industrial environment is required. The person selected will be working directly with other members of the production team, safety, quality and engineering. Primary Duties and Responsibilities include the following: ** · Machine operator and/or machine maintenance experience · Ability to learn and follow work instructions · Perform and adhere to Lock Out Tag Out safety standards · Ability to manage multiple tasks and to independently troubleshoot · Ability to read and apply customer and Ridge print specifications · Assist with data entry and management through ERP system · Perform Quality Inspections · Meet / Exceed production standards · Excellent time management and communication skills · Ability to work both independently and with a team · Self-Motivated · Follows Company safety and department policies and procedures · Maintains neat and clean work environment following 5S methodology · Makes recommendations to continually improve processes · Performs other duties as assigned Primary Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each primary duty and responsibility satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential job functions. · High School diploma / GED preferred · Proven commitment to quality compliance and productivity · Two months job related experience required, including machine operator / maintenance · Ability to identify ultrasonic, thermal, electrical and pneumatic concerns · Ability to follow work instructions from start up to shut down · Knowledge of company safety, OSHA and department policies and procedures including Lock Out Tag Out · Good applied interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills · Ability to read and comprehend basic English and perform basic math functions including reading a tape measure · Ability to be self-motivated Workplace Experience: · Previous manufacturing
