CNC Machine Operator (Computer Numerical Control Machine Operator)

Responsibilities - Select dies, tools, punches for proper thickness of material - Select proper CNC program for laser cutting - Form material according to drawings using various radius dies - Install and align progressive compound, forming, blanking, piercing, coining, embossing, notching and combination punches and dies - Perform first piece and in progress inspection to ensure that work meets all requirements - Maintain safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations - Contribute to team effort by training others in performance of fabrication tasks as needed - Lift up to 75 lbs on an occasional basis floor to waist {=html} - Lift up to 50 lbs on a frequent basis floor to chest Qualifications - Must be able to safety use small hand and power tools - Must be able to read bills of materials and interpret drawings of moderate to advanced complexity - Must have basic computer skills - Must be able to safely operation fabrication machinery such as press brake, punch press, etc
