Structural Engineer

We are looking for a self-motivated team member to work on bridges, walls and other structural elements made of steel and concrete. You will have opportunities to participate projects on design, analysis, and construction support on variety of local projects. Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

1. Perform engineering analysis and design for highway, roads, urban transit, and other infrastructure construction
2. Perform mathematical calculations, structural modeling and analysis including linear, nonlinear, or seismic analysis
3. Produce design plans, write reports, and comply with engineering standards and regulations
4. Use computer and commertial software tools in office to perform engineering work
5. Other design and construction related engineering support.

Qualifications:

1. EIT certificate is required
2. MS in Structural Engineering is required
3. Previous relevant engineering experience in transportation structures design preferred
4. Experience in using structural programs such as SAP2000
5. Familiar with Microsoft Office and AutoCAD software, Microstation is a plus
6. Proactive and efficient communication with clients and colleagues
7. Experience with AASHTO bridge design codes and WSDOT BDM preferred
