Description
Technical Recruiter Full-Time Location: El Dorado Hills, CA (on-site preferred; remote or hybrid possible)
Help us build the team behind RFgen's growth
RFgen develops enterprise mobile software that helps manufacturers, distributors, and other organizations improve warehouse, inventory, manufacturing, and supply chain operations.
Our solutions extend ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, and Deltek through mobile applications, barcode scanning, RFID, and real-time data collection.
We are looking for an experienced Technical Recruiter to manage full-cycle recruiting across RFgen's engineering, ERP consulting, implementation, and customer-facing technical teams.
You will work directly with company leadership and hiring managers to understand hiring needs, identify and attract qualified candidates, evaluate their experience, and guide them through the recruiting process.
This is a hands-on recruiting position for someone who understands the technology talent market and enjoys finding and engaging specialized professionals.
What you will do
- Manage full-cycle recruiting: Handle searches from job requirements and sourcing through screening, interviews, offers, and onboarding.
- Recruit specialized technical talent: Identify candidates in ERP, enterprise software, software development, systems integration, and technology consulting.
- Partner with hiring managers: Understand technical requirements, project experience, business knowledge, and communication skills needed for each position.
- Source proactively: Use LinkedIn Recruiter, professional networks, referrals, and other recruiting tools to find qualified candidates, including passive candidates.
- Screen and evaluate candidates: Conduct initial interviews to assess technical backgrounds, relevant project experience, problem-solving abilities, communication skills, and career goals.
- Build talent pipelines: Develop relationships with qualified professionals for current and future hiring needs.
- Manage the candidate experience: Coordinate interviews, maintain communication, gather feedback, and help close successful candidates.
- Use recruiting technology and AI: Leverage applicant tracking systems, sourcing tools, and RFgen-approved AI tools to improve recruiting efficiency.
- Track recruiting results: Monitor candidate pipelines, time to fill, hiring quality, and recruiting effectiveness.
Positions you will recruit
You will recruit across RFgen's technical organization, including ERP professionals specializing in SAP, Oracle, Deltek, Microsoft Dynamics, and other enterprise platforms; Solution Architects and Functional consultants; Software Developers specializing in .NET, C#, SQL, APIs, and mobile applications; Implementation Engineers, Systems Integration Engineers, as well as QA Engineers, Technical Support, and other engineering and customer-facing technical professionals.
Understanding the talent we need
Many RFgen positions require a combination of technical knowledge, business process experience, and customer-facing ability. For example, an ideal SAP Solution Architect candidate may be an experienced SAP Functional Consultant who understands warehouse and manufacturing operations and has led customer requirements workshops. Similarly, an Implementation Engineer may need experience with software, databases, APIs, ERP integrations, and enterprise application deployments. You do not need to be a software engineer or ERP expert yourself. However, you must understand technical job requirements well enough to ask informed questions, recognize relevant experience, and distinguish genuinely qualified candidates from people who simply have the right keywords on their resumes.
What you bring
- 3 to 5 years of experience in technical recruiting, preferably within enterprise software, ERP, SaaS, IT consulting, software development, or systems integration.
- A successful track record of sourcing and hiring hard-to-find technical talent.
- Experience recruiting ERP consultants, software developers, implementation engineers, or technical consultants is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with ERP platforms such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, and other enterprise applications is a strong advantage.
- Strong LinkedIn Recruiter search skills.
- The ability to understand technical job descriptions and develop effective sourcing strategies.
- Strong interviewing, communication, and candidate assessment skills.
- The ability to manage multiple searches independently and work directly with hiring managers.
- Experience with applicant tracking systems (ATS), recruiting CRM platforms, and modern sourcing tools.
- A results-oriented approach focused on hiring quality, not simply generating resumes.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field.
Experience recruiting for an ERP consulting firm, enterprise software company, systems integrator, or software development organization is particularly valuable.
How we work
You will work closely with RFgen leadership and hiring managers across engineering, sales, consulting, implementation, QA, product, and customer support. We value initiative, accountability, responsiveness, and practical problem-solving. You will have direct access to decision-makers and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on RFgen's growth. AI is becoming an important part of how RFgen operates. We encourage the use of approved AI tools to improve sourcing, recruiting research, candidate evaluation, and workflow efficiency.
What success looks like
- Hiring managers consistently receive qualified candidates.
- Specialized ERP and enterprise technology professionals are successfully identified and engaged.
- Software developers, implementation engineers, and technical consultants are brought into the recruiting pipeline.
- Searches move efficiently from opening to offer and acceptance.
- Candidates have a positive experience throughout the process.
- RFgen develops a strong network of technical talent for future hiring needs.

The anticipated base salary range is $95,000–$125,000 annually, depending on recruiting experience, technical recruiting expertise, qualifications, and work location. The position is also eligible for an annual performance bonus based on recruiting results and overall performance.
