Original job description

Finishing Operator: Night Shift

At StickerGiant, every sticker has a story. We are a Longmont, Colorado-based eCommerce company that makes custom stickers and product labels for small businesses and organizations. Founded over 20 years ago, StickerGiant pioneered online sticker sales and continues to set the industry standard. Our mission is simple: deliver high-quality products, fast service, and unparalleled customer service. We are guided by our core values: Customer Focus, Growth Mindset, Execution, Trust, and Accountability. We celebrate diversity in all its forms, creating an inclusive environment where everyone thrives. Join us in turning creativity into reality, one sticker at a time! StickerGiant is proudly backed by Ares Management, a top private equity firm.

The Finishing Operator position plays a critical role as the final stage in the manufacturing process for stickers and labels finished on a roll prior to the packaging and shipping of customer orders. In addition to operating finishing equipment, you may also be required to run other manufacturing machinery and equipment (e.g., shrink wrap machine and packaging/shipping station) to support overall production needs.

This is a night shift position on our 24/7 production schedule. Night crews work 12.5-hour shifts on a 2-2-3 rotation, working 7 shifts every two weeks, with a 3-day weekend every other week and more days off per year than a traditional 5-day schedule. Night shift operators keep production moving around the clock and work with greater independence. Clear communication during shift handoffs is a key part of the role.

Cross-training on all production machines and equipment is a core responsibility of this role. All operators are expected to learn and demonstrate proficiency on multiple machines beyond the one they were initially hired for or currently assigned to. This approach ensures operational flexibility, strengthens teamwork, and supports consistent and efficient production flow.

You take pride in speed, accuracy, and quality, while embracing adaptability and collaboration. Your commitment to supporting your team and being “All In” helps ensure that customer orders are completed on time and to the highest standards.

Offer ideas for continuous improvement within the manufacturing process
Cross-train on other printing machinery as needed and develop the capacity to support other team members in manufacturing
Maintain a clean, tidy workstation at all times

1 year of direct machine operator experience in a manufacturing environment (preferred)

Basic math skills and superb attention to detail and product quality
Ability to work independently with limited supervision during overnight hours

Interest and ability to grow professionally with support from StickerGiant

Physical Requirements

Duties require standing (except breaks and lunch) throughout a 12.5-hour working shift
Ability to work overnight hours, including weekends and holidays on a rotating basis
Ability to use hands and fingers to operate office equipment (e.g., keyboard, mouse, phone)
Able to lift 10 lbs. continuously and occasionally lift and/or move up to 45 lbs.
