QC Lab Technician

Responsibilities:

• Prepares samples for testing
• Performs visual inspection and dimensional analysis using vision system
• Sample testing for fiber characteristics such as performance using various testing equipment

(Measurement equipment, refractometer, spectrophotometer )

• Preparation of chemical solutions for testing
• Routine calibration on some equipment as needed
• Records test data in excel spreadsheet and reports out of specifications
• Maintenance of laboratory glassware and inventory
• Adherence to all company Quality policies and procedures
• Contributes to team effort as needed

Qualifications:

• Laboratory or manufacturing setting work experience preferred, within a controlled Quality environment
• Capable of prioritizing tasks and time management
• Ability to communicate effectively, especially within a team environment

Minimum of High School diploma required
