About Us:
At RELI Group, our work is grounded in purpose. We partner with government agencies to solve complex challenges, improve public health, strengthen national security, and make government services more effective and efficient. Our team of over 500 professionals brings deep expertise and a shared commitment to delivering meaningful outcomes. Behind every solution is a group of experts who care deeply about impact - whether we’re supporting data-driven decisions, modernizing systems or safeguarding critical programs.
RELI Group seeks a Market Research & Capture Associate to support federal business development through market intelligence, opportunity analysis, capture coordination, and management of the company’s Salesforce Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system. This role translates research into actionable recommendations, maintains reliable pipeline information, and coordinates deliverables that help leadership prioritize opportunities and advance pursuit efforts.
The Associate works closely with business development, capture, proposal, contracts, finance, and technical teams, while coordinating research assignments and supporting consistent processes across the growth organization.
Responsibilities
- Lead market research and opportunity analysis: Identify and assess federal contracting opportunities aligned with RELI’s capabilities, customer relationships, contract vehicles, and growth priorities, including opportunities across health, homeland security, and other federal civilian markets.
- Manage CRM operations: Serve as the primary business owner of RELI’s TechnoMile/Salesforce CRM, maintaining opportunity records, pipeline stages, ownership assignments, forecasts, and reporting structures.
- Improve pipeline data quality: Reconcile information across opportunity sources and internal trackers; resolve duplicate, incomplete, or outdated records; and coordinate updates with opportunity owners.
- Develop actionable business intelligence: Research agency priorities, acquisition forecasts, contract histories, incumbents, competitors, teaming partners, procurement approaches, and anticipated solicitation timelines using sources such as GovWin, SAM.gov, USASpending, and agency acquisition resources.
- Support capture planning and pursuit decisions: Prepare opportunity assessments, competitive analyses, partner research, and executive briefings that inform qualification, prioritization, teaming, and bid/no-bid discussions.
- Coordinate research team activities: Organize assignments for research staff and interns, communicate priorities and deadlines, review deliverables for accuracy and completeness, and maintain reusable research templates and reference materials.
- Prepare leadership reporting: Develop pipeline dashboards, recurring reports, and briefing materials that communicate opportunity status, upcoming milestones, pursuit risks, and actions requiring leadership attention.
- Support CRM adoption and process improvement: Assist users, troubleshoot business process issues, coordinate with system administrators and vendors, and evaluate reporting, workflow, and integration improvements.
- Coordinate supporting information: Work with contracts, finance, delivery teams, and subject matter experts to obtain contract documentation, past performance evidence, pricing inputs, and other information needed for pursuits and contract vehicle submissions.
- Perform additional activities supporting RELI’s business development, capture, and proposal objectives.
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in, or a graduate of, an undergraduate or graduate program in business, information systems, analytics, public policy, or a related field; equivalent relevant experience may also be considered.
- Demonstrated experience conducting research, compiling information from multiple sources, and presenting clear findings and recommendations.
- Experience maintaining CRM records, databases, structured trackers, or business reporting tools with strong attention to data accuracy.
- Strong analytical, organizational, problem-solving, and written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to coordinate multiple assignments, manage competing deadlines, and work independently while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, and Teams.
- Ability to interpret detailed requirements and translate them into organized tasks, documentation, and deliverables.
- Sound judgment when handling proprietary business information and communicating with internal and external stakeholders.
