Padbury Periodontics & Implant Dentistry is looking for a full-time dental/surgical assistant to join our friendly team in downtown Jackson. Dental experience is a plus, but it's not required. We're open to candidates who are dependable, eager to learn and enjoy helping people.

Our practice specializes in periodontal care and dental implants. We take pride in making patients feel comfortable and providing compassionate, high-quality care in a welcoming, professional environment.

What you'll do

· Help patients feel comfortable and cared for during their visits

· Assist the doctor with dental and surgical procedures

· Take patient vital signs and diagnostic X-rays

· Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments

· Help with front-office tasks as needed

· Work alongside a team committed to excellent patient care

What we're looking for

· A positive attitude and willingness to learn

· Dependability, attention to detail, and a team-oriented approach

· Good communication and people skills

· Previous dental experience is helpful, but not required

Pay and benefits

· Starting pay of $20 per hour and up
