Through their influence and expertise, they help foster a culture where continuous improvement and engineering excellence thrive. We're seeking a Professional Engineer to join our Design Center team. In this role, you'll serve as a technical leader for Designers, Engineer-in-Training (EIT) team members, and sales partners while helping customers successfully deliver commercial building projects. You'll influence project quality, support customer success, and contribute to an environment where individuals, teams, and projects can thrive. What You'll Do Technical Leadership
• Perform engineering review and approval of commercial project designs and shop drawings.
• Ensure designs comply with applicable building codes, engineering standards, and RedBuilt quality requirements.
• Support continuous improvement of engineering practices, design methodologies, and technical standards.
• Provide technical guidance and engineering expertise to design and sales teams.

Develop Future Talent

• Mentor Designers and Engineer-in-Training (EIT) team members.
• Support knowledge sharing and professional development within the Design Center.
• Help foster a culture of learning, collaboration, and technical excellence.
• Encourage growth through coaching, technical leadership, and everyday collaboration.

Support Customer Success

• Work closely with architects, engineers, contractors, builders, and building officials.
• Provide technical solutions that help customers successfully deliver commercial building projects.
• Assist the sales team with engineering consultation and project support.
• Build trusted relationships through responsive and professional service.

Advance Quality and Continuous Improvement

• Help improve engineering quality, consistency, and best practices across the organization.
• Identify opportunities to improve design efficiency, project execution, and engineering effectiveness.
• Support initiatives that drive innovation, reliability, and continuous improvement.

What We're Looking For Required Qualifications

• Licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.).
• Minimum 5 years of structural engineering, consulting, or related experience.
• Strong understanding of structural design principles and experience with mass timber systems and components.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to lead technical discussions and mentor developing professionals.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Ability to build effective relationships with customers, teammates, and industry partners.

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with commercial building systems and construction methods.
• Manufacturing, product application, or construction industry experience.
• Experience leading, mentoring, or developing technical teams.
