Bus Driver

Summary We are seeking a dedicated and safety-conscious individual to join our team as a Bus Driver. In this full-time position, you will be responsible for transporting passengers safely and efficiently along designated routes. You will play a vital role in ensuring a positive experience for our riders while adhering to all traffic regulations and company policies.

Responsibilities

• Operate buses in a safe and efficient manner, following scheduled routes and timetables.
• Ensure the safety of passengers by conducting pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle.
• Assist passengers with boarding and disembarking, including those with disabilities.
• Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor while interacting with passengers and the public.
• Report any mechanical issues or safety concerns to the appropriate personnel.
• Keep accurate records of routes, passenger counts, and any incidents that occur during shifts.
• Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations, as well as company policies and procedures.
• Attend training sessions and meetings as required to stay updated on safety protocols and operational changes.
• Assist in maintaining cleanliness and orderliness of the bus interior.

Requirements

• Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with passenger endorsement.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 2 years of driving experience, preferably in a passenger transport setting.
• Strong knowledge of traffic laws and safety regulations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to handle stressful situations and maintain composure in emergencies.
• Must pass a background check and drug screening.
• Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Strong commitment to providing exceptional customer service.
