Original job description

About the Role Recurly is looking for a Partner Manager to run the day-to-day management of our existing partnerships across payments providers, ISVs, and advisors. This role keeps our partner relationships active, productive, and accountable. You will own the mutual referral process, drive and track partner-sourced leads, and make sure partners and internal teams have what they need to bring Recurly into deals. This is an execution-focused role that works across Sales, Marketing, Product, and Customer Success. You will operate as the hub between our partners and Recurly, turning relationships that already exist into consistent pipeline and revenue..

Partner Relationship Management

  • Own day-to-day relationships with our payments partners, ISVs, and advisors, serving as their primary Recurly contact.
  • Hold regular business reviews with partners to track pipeline, joint goals, and partner health.
  • Identify partner needs and escalate feedback to the right internal teams so partners stay engaged and successful.
  • Monitor partner activity levels and re-engage partners who go quiet.

Mutual Referral Process & Lead Management

  • Own the end-to-end mutual referral process, including intake, routing, handoff, and follow-up with Sales.
  • Drive, track, and report on partner-sourced and partner-influenced leads and opportunities.
  • Maintain clear definitions and SLAs for referrals so partners know what to expect and internal teams act on them quickly.
  • Work with Sales leadership to improve conversion of partner leads and identify bottlenecks.

Enablement, Account Mapping & Co-Selling

  • Plan and coordinate partner enablement sessions covering Recurly's product, positioning, and sales motion.
  • Run joint account mapping exercises to identify target accounts that both Recurly and partners can pursue together.
  • Coordinate with AEs on joint account plans and co-selling on partner-sourced deals.

Campaigns & Shared Content

  • Work with Marketing to execute joint marketing campaigns with partners, from concept through launch and reporting.
  • Own shared partner content, including landing pages, presentations, case studies, and co-marketing collateral.
  • Keep content accurate, current, and easy for partners to find and use.

Salesforce & Partner Operations

  • Own Recurly's Salesforce configuration for partner management, including partner account structures, referral objects, opportunity workflows, and reporting.
  • Partner with Sales Ops and Marketing Ops on data quality, lead routing, and partner attribution.
  • Build and maintain dashboards that give leadership clear visibility into partner performance.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with Product, Marketing, Customer Success, and Finance to align partner programs with company priorities.
  • Bring partner and merchant feedback into product and GTM planning.
  • Represent Recurly at partner events, webinars, and joint customer sessions as needed.

Why This Role Matters This role keeps Recurly's partner ecosystem running well. By owning the referral process, the Salesforce foundation, and the shared content that partners rely on, you will make it easier for partners to sell Recurly and for our sales team to close partner-sourced deals.
