Our purpose defines why we exist: to protect, heal and nurture in the relentless pursuit of a cleaner, healthier world. We are a global team united by this purpose. Join us in our fight to make access to the highest quality hygiene, wellness, and nourishment a right and not a privilege.

Our supply chain is the backbone of our business. It's how we get our trusted products to people all over the world, safely and efficiently. And it's our talented and passionate teams that make this happen.

If you're looking for a career in supply chain, there's no better place to be than Reckitt. We offer a variety of exciting opportunities in all areas of the supply chain, from planning and procurement to manufacturing and logistics. You could join our Global Supply Planning team to develop and implement our global supply strategy, or work with our Procurement Centre of Excellence team to negotiate and manage our supplier relationships.

Our Manufacturing Excellence team help us improve the efficiency, quality and safety of our manufacturing operations, and our Logistics Excellence team develop new and innovative ways to distribute our products to customers.

About the role

Join Reckitt as a Process Engineering Lead - Packaging and play a key role in driving operational excellence across our packaging operations. This position supports daily packaging activities while leading continuous improvement initiatives that enhance safety, quality, delivery, cost, and people performance. Working closely with Operations, Quality, R&D, Supply, and Engineering teams, you will use data-driven decision making, Lean principles, and problem-solving methodologies to optimize packaging processes, improve equipment reliability, and ensure efficient, compliant packaging operations.

The ideal candidate is a hands-on problem solver who thrives in a fast-paced packaging environment. You will lead improvement projects, support packaging validation and new product introductions, drive waste and downtime reduction efforts, and help strengthen operator capability through training and documentation excellence. This role offers the opportunity to make a measurable impact on packaging performance while contributing to Reckitt's culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.

Your responsibilities

Monitor packaging performance and analyze Safety, Quality, Cost, Delivery, and People metrics to identify and implement improvement opportunities within the Reckitt Production System (RPS).
Lead continuous improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, root cause analysis, and CAPA methodologies to optimize packaging processes, improve equipment reliability, and resolve operational challenges.
Support packaging process changes, line validations, documentation updates, and equipment troubleshooting to ensure efficient and compliant packaging operations.
Partner with cross-functional teams on new product introductions, packaging technology transfers, line commissioning, and packaging optimization projects.
Ensure compliance with GMP, ISO, safety, and sustainability requirements while driving waste reduction, minimizing line downtime, and strengthening operator capability through training and best-practice implementation.

This role is not currently sponsoring visas or considering international movement at this time.

The experience we're looking for

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing, Packaging Engineering, or a related technical field, with at least 3 years of process engineering experience in packaging, FMCG, pharmaceutical, food, chemical, or similar production environments.
Experience leading continuous improvement initiatives utilizing Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, root cause analysis, and other operational excellence methodologies to enhance packaging line performance.
Experience troubleshooting packaging equipment and processes, analyzing production data, implementing process controls, and driving corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
Experience working within regulated environments and supporting compliance with GMP, ISO, food safety, or similar quality and regulatory standards.
Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams on capital projects, packaging line commissioning, technology transfers, process validations, training initiatives, and operational improvement efforts in a fast-paced manufacturing or packaging setting.
