Real Chemistry is looking for a Manager, Paid Search to join our growing Biddable Media team!

A Manager, Paid Search is responsible for the end-to-end execution, performance, and day-to-day management of paid search campaigns across assigned accounts. This individual translates client objectives into tactical campaign strategies, owns campaign optimization and budget management, identifies opportunities for account growth, and communicates performance insights and recommendations to clients and internal stakeholders. The Manager also coordinates day-to-day projects and begins developing leadership skills by delegating work, overseeing campaign execution, and mentoring junior team members.

This is a hybrid role, based in any of our US offices - New York City, Boston, Chicago, San Francisco, Indianapolis, or Lambertville (NJ) - or remotely within the US, depending on team and business needs.

What You'll Do

Own the day-to-day execution and performance of paid search campaigns across Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, and supporting search technologies, from planning and setup through launch, optimization, and reporting.
Develop tactical paid search strategies aligned with client objectives, audience strategies, KPIs, and broader integrated media plans. Contribute to campaign forecasts, planning inputs, and supporting data analysis.
Oversee flawless campaign launches, including campaign setup, trafficking, quality assurance, tracking, tagging, and delivery requirements.
Own campaign pacing, budget management, and ongoing optimization, monitoring real-time performance and making data-driven adjustments to meet client KPIs and improve account performance.
Track campaign spend, maintain accurate budget forecasts, and actualize budgets monthly while proactively identifying and communicating pacing or delivery risks.
Troubleshoot platform, tracking, attribution, trafficking, and reporting issues using strong platform expertise and analytical problem-solving skills.
Translate campaign data into clear performance narratives, actionable insights, and optimization recommendations that connect results to client objectives.
Proactively identify and recommend account evolutions, testing opportunities, and platform innovations that improve campaign effectiveness and support account growth.
Communicate account status, campaign performance, and recommendations directly to clients and vendors; participate actively in client meetings and lead day-to-day discussions with support from senior leadership as appropriate.
Develop paid search strategies, performance recommendations, and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
Coordinate day-to-day account projects and collaborate with Integrated Media, Analytics, Strategy, Ad Operations, Creative, and Client Experience teams to deliver campaign objectives and manage cross-functional dependencies.
Delegate and oversee campaign responsibilities assigned to Associates and Senior Associates, breaking down projects into manageable tasks and ensuring deliverables are accurate and timely.
Mentor and train junior team members on platform execution, campaign processes, and best practices while continuing to develop people leadership capabilities.
Contribute to process improvements, documentation, training materials, automation initiatives, and emerging platform capabilities that strengthen team efficiency and performance.

This Position Is a Perfect Fit for You If

Our Company values, Best Together, Impact Obsessed, Excellence Expected, Evolve Always, and Accountability with an "I", genuinely resonate with how you work and lead.
You demonstrate the Real Chemistry Can mindset by approaching challenges with optimism, accountability, creativity, and a solutions-oriented attitude, always looking for ways to make a meaningful impact for our clients, colleagues, and communities.
You are adaptable, resilient, and comfortable adjusting your scope, responsibilities, and priorities in a fast-paced, evolving environment. As our business grows and changes, so do we.
You are proactive, driven, and resourceful, with strong prioritization skills, intellectual curiosity, and a desire to leverage data to inform decisions and drive outcomes.
You are energized by innovation and the transformative potential of AI, actively exploring new technologies, identifying opportunities to work smarter, and championing practical, responsible AI adoption that drives meaningful business impact.

What You Should Have

3+ years of professional experience managing digital media campaigns, with significant hands-on experience in paid search.
Strong expertise in Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, and paid search campaign management.
Experience managing campaigns end to end, including planning, setup, launch, optimization, reporting, and performance analysis.
Strong understanding of bidding strategies, keyword management, audience targeting, attribution, conversion optimization, and campaign measurement.
Demonstrated ability to monitor campaign performance, manage budgets and pacing, and optimize toward established KPIs.
Experience developing forecasts, tracking spend, and maintaining accurate monthly budget actualization.
Ability to troubleshoot platform, tracking, tagging, attribution, and reporting issues.
Experience translating campaign data into meaningful insights, performance narratives, and optimization recommendations.
Strong client communication, presentation, analytical, critical-thinking, and problem-solving skills.
Demonstrated project-management, organizational, and prioritization capabilities, including coordinating deliverables across multiple accounts and teams.
Experience delegating tasks, overseeing campaign workstreams, or mentoring and training junior team members.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and relevant reporting and analytics platforms.
Experience with bid management, analytics, and attribution tools is preferred.
Pharmaceutical and healthcare marketing experience is preferred but not required.

Pay Range: $60,000-$80,000

The anticipated salary range for this position is listed above. At Real Chemistry, we believe we're at our best when we're connected. Our Real Hybrid and Regional Teams (Real HART) approach is designed to foster collaboration, learning, innovation, and meaningful relationships while providing flexibility where appropriate. Because our workforce spans multiple countries, regions, and client needs, work arrangements may vary by role and location. Some positions offer hybrid or remote flexibility, while others require regular in-office presence. For example, certain teams and regions, including some of our UK operations, have office-based requirements. Your recruiter will discuss the specific expectations for the role you're pursuing during the interview process and keep you informed throughout the hiring journey. For employees located within a one-hour commute of a Real Chemistry office, we require in-person attendance two days per week, either from a Real Chemistry office or when working onsite with clients. Employees in regions without a nearby office may work remotely and come together throughout the year for collaboration, culture-building, learning, and team connection opportunities. While these guidelines reflect our current workplace model, we understand that everyone’s circumstances are unique. If you require additional flexibility, we welcome an open conversation with your recruiter and our HR team to discuss your needs and determine what may be possible.
