Production Operator – Experienced

Location: Humble, TX | Department: Production | Full-Time

Position Summary

Reactive Downhole Tools is seeking a dependable, safety-minded Production Operator to perform hands-on production activities in a manufacturing environment. The successful candidate will have manual lathe and/or experience with swellable packers. Manufacturing or oil & gas experience is required.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform assigned production tasks safely and efficiently.
• Follow safety requirements and maintain a clean, organized work area
• Check materials and traceability
• Verify details of job to ensure correct materials are cut
• Cut rubber in accordance with job requirements and documentation
• Perform regular checks to cut dimensions to ensure material conforms to job requirements and documentation
• Work cooperatively with Production and other departments.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
• Ability to read a tape measure.
• Basic Microsoft Office skills.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Ability to safely learn and operate production tools and equipment.
• Dependable attendance, good situational awareness, and willingness to learn.

Preferred Qualifications

• 1–2 years of manufacturing or oil & gas experience.
• Downhole tool manufacturing experience.
• Ability to read technical drawings.
• Overhead crane experience.
• Manual lathe operation and setup experience.
• Rubber cutting experience.

Physical Requirements & Working Conditions

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Ability to bend, stoop, reach, kneel, and work in various positions.
• Ability to use hand tools and production equipment safely.
• Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull materials as required.
• Ability to work around industrial machinery, noise, dust, and varying temperatures.
• Ability to wear required PPE, including safety glasses, hearing protection, and gloves.
• Ability to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation.
